![]() I want to enjoy this game.Įdit: pffft at the downvoter. Oh, and the level design is boring and repetitive. I like the setting and the graphical style, but at present, that's really all this game has going for it. This suggests to me that the game is produced by people who like the aesthetic of roguelike games and want to capitalize on their niche popularity (a contradiction of terms?), but who don't actually play enough of them to understand the design considerations that go into such games. It's also really hard to tell what type of weapon an enemy is equipped with without first right-clicking the enemy and then navigating tab-menus. The crafting UI also is inexcusably bad, requiring players to scroll through a list and click multiple times to place each individual crafting ingredient, only to produce a single item at a time. ![]() ![]() There are no keybinds for targeting and firing on enemies at a distance. Or you can use the numpad, but again, there are default keybinds missing and this requires the player to remove their hand from the mouse, which is required for targeting and item interaction since there are no keybinds for doing that. You can use the arrow keys, but then you can't move diagonally. Keyboard support is abysmally poor for a roguelike - to the point where they don't have default WASD keybinds. And it doesn't bother to warn you or stop you from stepping in fire. There's a delay imposed between each tile-step.
